How much are you two talking about? I have access to one I was going to put on ebay. Would sell here to avoid the paypal/ebay fees if the price is right.

I also am looking for a 2002/2003 Alpine DVD disk for my 2000 XKR, if anyone has one available. I have tried to get one ad nauseum, with no luck. Someone please copy this (I have tried, with no luck), so we can keep using our navigation systems. It is NOT pirating, as this DVD is no longer available from any source, and is thus not copywriteable anymore. Jaguar, Navteq, and Alpine have blown us off completely - which is inexcusable. Thanks to anyone who has an answer.

Update: I was able to (finally) duplicate my 98/99 DVD disk, before it gives up the ghost. Found that it takes a bit-by-bit burning program, and must use a DVD + R disk (not a RW disk) (someone posted that it took a -R disk, but, at least on my Alpine unit, it takes a DVD + R disk). If someone would please take my advice, and burn your 2002/03 disk, and send me a copy, I would be most appreciative, since this was the last Alpine disk manufactured, and would at least bring me up a few years in Navteq data. Thanks.

Does anyone Know if there is any street maps / POI on the C2N3030 (2003) Alpine disc for Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. My city pop 800,000 shows up as a dot on the hwy. If there is, then I to will be looking for a disc.
Isn't it interesting how ignorant Jag, NavTeq and Alpine seem to be on this subject.

@Aerojag: were you ever able to get a 2003 DVD for your nav unit (Jag p/n 4W83-10E898-GA; Alpine p/n BM9JG91F)? I've also got a 2000 XKR (titanium blue) with orig DVD and I'm a few miles up the road in Palo Alto.

mr_T (not to be mistaken for Mr. T), Aerojag was able to find an updated disc for his unit, I helped a bit. Send me an email to matt (dot) hopper (@) att.net and I'll see what I can do for you.

Default Trouble with 2003 Alpine Disk for my 2000 XKR

Yes, the DVD kindly provided worked, but not OK. The GPS was always off, and did not work most of the time. Also, when I tried to go back to my 98/99 original disk, it worked fine, but all my saved data had to be reentered - a real pain. I was never able to really duplicate my 98/99 disk, so don't have a usable backup for it either. If you want to try my 2003 duplicated disk, you are welcome to try, but can't guarantee it will work. Call me on my cell to arrange for pick up, if you want. (Dan).

@AeroJag: Dan- Thanks for the reply! I've got your number and will give you a call later in the week. You can also email me: jaguarforums.com (a.t) incore (d.o.t) net.
@h20boy: Matt- Thanks again for the help. I'll try to borrow the DVD from AeroJag to see how it works in my car and I'll try to make DVD+R copies of my DVD so we can have backups of our originals.
