Default Fog Light Mounting Bracket

My drivers side fog light is completely detached from the car and just laying inside the hole. When I look in there, it appears that the actual mounting for the foglight bracket is broken off. It appears to be grey and maybe it bolts to the bumper cover? I cannot find it on any of the online parts places. Does anyone know the part number or know where I can find a diagram with the part. I found a picture of a foglight assembly on this site and attached it for reference. I think the foglight is fine, but whatever happened actually busted the mounting bracket apart. Probobly the gray bracket that the foglight mounts to in the picture.

Jevs, the foglights are held in by a double capture method. What I mean by this is you have 2 bolts that hold the fog light on and also the gray tabs that you see in the picture are friction clips that hold the fog light in place too. So, if the tabs break (most likely due to improper removal), you can still hold the fog light in place using the bolts. The bolts are at the 10 o'clock and 4 o'clock positions as I recall (if looking from the back side of the fog light). So, as long as all 4 retaining spots are not broken, you should be able to get the fog light to be held in place. You can see one of the bolts behind the black wire bundle.

The wife got home with the car a little bit ago. I pulled it apart and found the grey bracket was busted up pretty bad before and someone had melted it back together and of course it broke again. I got the part number 1X43-15T223-A off the bracket.

Anyone know a good online place to order factory parts? I need to replace the ash tray lid as well. Someone screwed up the finish.

Thanks,
John

John, check out http://www.jaguarparts.com. I have used them and they are a dealership from out of Cleveland, OH. They will mail you any part that a dealership can get. Their prices are also probably the best that you will find for a dealership. I know a lot of their prices are right in line with what you will find on e-bay. If you don't see what you are wanting on their parts list, give their 1-800 number a call and talk to the parts guys directly. They will be able to hook you up. You can give ken@britishparts.com (member here) a quick e-mail and see what he can do for you. I have used him too and he will make sure you get the right parts.

Apparently the fog light is unavailable. They say it's unavailable unless you buy the whole bumper cover. Seems silly since it is a bolt on part. Anyway I used my plastic welding kit to fix the broken one. As for the ashtray lid, I refinished it myself since I figured the new one would just end up peeling and scratching like the old one did. I did order a couple other parts from jaguarparts.com though.

Thanks.
